While we hosted many successful digital events during the lockdown, you just can’t beat a live event!! There is something magical about seeing live entertainment and interacting with people face-to-face.
The Last Man Standing team recently had the opportunity to work on a Mall Activation around the time of Halloween.
It was so exciting to be outdoors; even if it was in a mall; connecting with people in real-time and creating an interactive space for shoppers to enjoy.
And while the COVID-19 regulations had to be adhered to; all that participated in the creative ensured that the space still felt warm, safe and inviting (and of course a little scary) and not at all intimidating because of social distancing or sanitising requirements.
Seeing how energised and excited the team was to put this event together really made us feel as though live events are nowhere near a thing of the past! With regulations slowly easing up, there is no doubt that there will be many more exciting events to come, especially during the festive season!
While Hybrid and Virtual events do well to deter the emotional FOMO; it really is not the same as being there on the ground seeing people connect with each other and experiencing something live and in person.
Live events rock and they are definitely going to come back bigger and better than before.
So; stay positive; stay safe, and keep pushing for live events!!!
